The client for this project wanted a proof-of-concept PWA (Progressive Web App) for mobile devices an oncologist or oncology nurse could use to easily look up adverse reactions for cancer patients. This proof of concept was demoed at a nurse’s symposium as part of a presentation by Merck.

I created a prototype in Invision to show how it would work and incorporated all the safety information that is required by the FDA to show what the limitations would be in situ. (The important safety information has to display in a tray and takes up 40% of the screen. Would that make it too cumbersome for the user?)

I prepared a survey for attendees to give their initial feedback after testing the prototype.

Although the compiled feedback from the symposium was positive, this app did not go forward because the medical review board thought it was too diagnostic and and it is against regulatory for a brand to aid a doctor in the treatment of a patient in any way. So it was archived.

Please ask me for a demo in Invision!
